Draught Beer Academy

This is a 4-day introduction to draught beer dispensing. Day 1 topics include beer styles, understanding beer dispense, equipment and operations. Day 2 expands on the knowledge to understanding remote draw systems. Day 3 includes forced air remote draw system design, sensory analysis and more. Day 4 shows you how to submit a winning proposal.

Advanced Draught Academy

The IBDEAU Advanced Draught Academy is a hands-on, next-level 4-day workshop designed for experienced pre-qualified* draught dispense industry personnel. Students will acquire and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of draught dispense “best practices” and state-of-the-art technologies for beer, wine, etc.

*Pre-qualification: Graduate of IBDEA Basic Draught Course or similar. Successful completion of a fee-based IBDEA qualifying entrance exam. Fee will be credited to tuition cost upon successful completion.

Carbonation 101

This popular school provides participants with a fundamental understanding of carbonation. Topics include bar guns, beer systems, cooling systems, regulators, water quality, syrup and tubing supplies. Installation guidelines train participants in best practices in installation with hands-on training with highly qualified professional instructors. Expand your knowledge!

Advanced Troubleshooting School

The curriculum for this course covers areas of electricity and refrigeration that are usually overlooked, including using multimeters, testing circuits and voltage, the proper use of gauges, understanding refrigerants, and of course, diagnosing systems. As an extra, each participant received their own multimeter and refrigeration gauges to take home to put to use on the job.
