Learn how to avoid the service call, diagnose problems quickly over the phone, and turn the call into an opportunity.
Workshop — Distribution Business Inventory Management
Mark Iskra and Lucas Iskra, Leonard’s Syrups
Sunday, March 10, from 10:30 – 11:30 am
Inventory management is the linchpin of success for distribution businesses. It involves overseeing the procurement, storage, and distribution of goods with precision and efficiency. Effective inventory management enables distributors to strike a balance between maintaining sufficient stock levels to meet customer demand and minimizing carrying costs associated with excess inventory. By employing advanced technology, such as inventory management software and data analytics, distributors can accurately forecast demand, optimize reorder points, and reduce the risk of stockout or overstock situations. This not only enhances customer satisfaction by ensuring timely deliveries but also improves cash flow and profitability by freeing up capital tied up in excess inventory. Mastering inventory management is pivotal for maximizing operational efficiency and staying ahead of the competition, ultimately contributing to sustained growth and success.
