IBDEA Code of Ethics

  • Maintain the highest standards of personal and professional integrity to ensure that the conduct of our business will inspire confidence in the IBDEA and our industry
  • Refrain from any activities that might adversely reflect upon the IBDEA
  • Accurately represent the services and/or products available to prospective customers
  • Charge only for products and services actually delivered and perform only those repairs and services that truly benefit the customer
  • Refrain from intentionally charging customers for service calls that result from careless, incompetent, or negligent acts performed by a company employee
  • Conduct myself in an ethical manner when relating to competitors and refrain from intentionally misrepresenting a competitor’s product or services
  • Recognize and discharge my responsibility, as well as encourage my employees and fellow IBDEA members to continuously support the IBDEA Code of Ethics
